The antibody does not recognize full length lamin A.Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to carboxy-terminal residues surrounding Asp230 in human lamin A. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
