This antibody does not cross-react with other histone proteins, including Histone H3.Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser7 of human CENP-A protein. Antibodies are purified by peptide affinity chromatography.
