These kits are able to detect 8 of the most commonly-encountered agents of tissue M. arginini, M. fermentans, M. hominis, M. hyorhinis, M. pirum, M. salivarium, M. orale and A. laidlawi. The MycoSensor PCR Assay Kit is a gel-based PCR assay that can detect Mycoplasma infections in cell cultures in less than three and a half hours. The MycoSensor QPCR assay kit primer mix is capable of detecting Mycoplasma infections in cell cultures in less than two hours, depending on the spectrofluorometric thermal cycler used for detection.
