The antibody does not cross-react with Rb phosphorylated at other sites.Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser780 of human Rb. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
