KASP Master mix contains the universal FRET cassettes, ROX™ passive reference dye, Taq polymerase, free nucleotides and MgCl2 in an optimised buffer solution. The KASP Master mix is universal and can be used in conjunction with all KASP Assays. LGC manufacture KASP Master mix with varying levels of ROX as the qPCR machines available on the market have differing requirements for ROX. KASP Master mix is available in Low, Standard, and High ROX formulations.
Please note: these formulations only differ in the level of ROX that they contain and are otherwise identical. Please refer to the KASP Master mix – PCR instrument guide to select the correct KASP Master mix for your instrument. If you are using 1536-well plates, please be aware that you will require our 1536-formulation of KASP Master mix (standard ROX only).
