The kit includes enough antibody to perform four western blot experiments per primary antibody.Each antibody recognizes endogenous levels of their target protein. Phospho-Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase (Ser79) (D7D11) Rabbit mAb recognizes endogenous levels of acetyl-CoA carboxylase protein only when phosphorylated at Ser79.Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the sequence of human acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 protein. Polyclonal antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography. Monoclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser79 of human acetyl-CoA carboxylase protein, or a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser523 of human acetyl-CoA carboxylase α1, or Val1416 of human acetyl-CoA carboxylase 2 protein.
